In the stage version of THE LION KING there are two children’s roles: Young Simba and Young Nala. These characters are brace, athletic and energetic lion cubs.
We are always looking for children aged 8-11 to join our Cub School training programme, which will teach young performers skills in acting, movement and singing to later audition to potentially play these roles professionally in the West End.
Whilst winning a place in Cub School does not guarantee a part in the stage musical, it has proven to be excellent training for young people with the ambition to work on stage.
Applications for The Lion King Cub School are ongoing, and auditions are held twice a year. The next auditions will take place in March 2019.
Applicants for Cub School must be between ages 8 and 11 and below 140cm (4’6”) in height.
