There are six wheelchair spaces available in the Stalls seating area.

The wheelchair accessible entrance is via a double exit door situated at the front of the theatre on Wellington Street. This is clearly marked and provides level access to the Accessible Toilets, the Stalls Bar and the Stalls seating area.

The theatre’s main entrance is up three steps to the lower foyer. From here there are 7 steps down to the Stalls and 12 steps up to the Royal Circle landing. The Grand Circle is up 83 steps.

There are lift facilities available to all levels of the Lyceum Theatre, located via the entrance on Exeter Street. All levels, apart from the Stalls, are laid out over a number of steps.

There are parking spaces for blue badge holders close to the theatre. The nearest car parks are located in Chinatown and Leicester Square and can be booked in advance by calling Qpark on 0800 243 348.

The LION KING regularly schedules audio described performances for those with visual impairments in association with VocalEyes. Audio description in theatre is a live verbal commentary on the visual elements of a production, delivered as a performance unfolds, through a discreet headset.

The next audio described performance of THE LION KING will take place on Sunday 14 August 2022 at 2:30pm.
Guide Dogs are welcome in an auditorium or can alternatively be left in the care of the theatre staff. If you intend to bring a guide dog, please advise at the time of booking.

THE LION KING regularly schedules sign-interpreted performances in association with Theatre Sign. Throughout the performance, a qualified theatre sign interpreter stands on the left of the stage and uses sign language to relay music and words to the deaf and hearing impaired patrons, all of whom are seated within easy viewing distance of both the stage and interpreter.

The next signed (BSL) performance will take place on Sunday 30 July 2023 at 2:30pm.

We regularly schedule captioned performances of THE LION KING in association with Stagetext. Captioning is a way of converting the spoken word into visible text that provides deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people with access to live performance.

The next captioned performance of THE LION KING will take place on Sunday 28 August 2022 at 2:30pm.
