In light of the recent Covid-19 developments in the UK, and with uncertainty as to when current restrictions are likely to be lifted, it is not yet possible for The Walt Disney Company and Ambassador Theatre Group to confirm the new opening date for The Lion King in Manchester.

The health and wellbeing of our audiences, cast, crew and theatre staff are paramount and we are all excited to see the production open at the Palace Theatre as soon as we are able to do so safely without current social distancing regulations. Therefore, we have taken the decision to hold communication about your new performance, to reassess our timeline, and to ensure we cause as little inconvenience as possible.

We are hopeful that we will be able to clarify the position by the end of February and would like to thank our customers for their understanding and patience during this difficult period.

Once we are in a position to confirm details of the rescheduled season, you will have the opportunity to transfer your booking into an alternative performance/different seats (where possible), or to request a full refund should the new performance date not be suitable. Details of how to request changes will be included in an email which will be sent by our colleagues at ATG Tickets and Disney Tickets.

We would be grateful if customers could wait for us to be back in touch with more information before contacting ATG Tickets or Disney Tickets as we will be in a better position to be able to help with enquiries once we have confirmed your new performance date.
